Most of the time, it is the really simple things in life that are the most striking, the most captivating and most rewarding.

I love the curve of a tree trunks, water-carved sandstone sea cliffs, the delicateness of a feather, the smell of my dogs paws. Stopping to look at these simple things, smelling the moments, feeling the heat on our head or grass underfoot- these are the moments that bring us back to ourselves and bring us closer to nature. We, as humans, have moved so far away from nature that we mistreat it, kill it, enslave it and force it against our will.

Those simple moments of enjoying the shape of a rock, the texture of a leaf, the smell of a flower- those are the best moments in this life because they take us back to nature, not away from it.
